Canada’s first terrorist bombing?

Not far from castlegar doukhobor leader Peter verigin was assassinated on board the columbia & western railway bound for grand forks in 1924.
The train was blown up and 9 other passengers died, The doukhobors immigrated to Canada to escape the russian orthodox church and although pacifiers they had political enemies here. Many locals are of their decent including denas family.
