Shortly after Osprey Lake I came across a Belgian biking from Anchorage Alaska carrying 50kg more on his bike than I. Having unloaded most of mine in Princeton for LA to pickup on her way thru I excused myself from this supposed slow coach. He left me in his dust despite washboard trails, never to be seen again…
